Call 0413 080 859Most timber floors in Sydney have years of life left under the old finish. We sand through scratches, stains and yellowed coatings in three passes, fill gaps, then apply your choice of finish so the boards look close to new.

How the job runs.
Step 1
Look and quote
We visit, check the boards, measure, and give you a written quote with a start date.
Step 2
Prep and repair
Furniture moved, nails punched, loose or damaged boards fixed or replaced.
Step 3
Sand in three passes
Coarse to fine with dust-extracted machines, then edges and corners by hand.
Step 4
Fill and stain
Gaps filled to match. If you want a new colour, we test stain samples on your boards first.
Step 5
Coat
Usually three coats of your chosen finish, lightly cut back between coats for a smooth feel.
Step 6
Hand back
A final walk-through together, plus care instructions for the first weeks.
Questions about floor sanding & polishing
How long does sanding and polishing take?
A typical three-bedroom home takes two to four days including coat drying time. We'll give you a firm schedule with your quote.
Can I stay in the house while you work?
Usually yes for water-based finishes, though you'll need to stay off the floors while coats cure. Oil-based finishes have a stronger smell and we recommend staying elsewhere for a night or two.
How soon can furniture go back?
Light foot traffic after 24 hours, furniture after 3 to 7 days depending on the finish. Rugs are best left off for two weeks.
